How to get to IPO

IPO Lisboa is located between Praça de Espanha and Sete Rios, in São Domingos de Benfica parish, in Lisbon.

The Institute is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and has three entrance doors, with different schedules:

Main entrance: open every day for 24h

Praça de Espanha entrance: open on working days between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Sete-Rios entrance (pedestrian access): open on working days between 7:15 a.m. and 6:45 p.m.

Parking: IPO Lisboa has a Car Park open all year round, 24 hours a day. Parking is permitted only in duly reserved and designated places for that purpose; it is expressly forbidden to park outside those areas. The control of vehicles’ entry in IPO Lisboa is carried out by an external company. Since it is impossible to guarantee the parking to all users and visitors, it is recommended, whenever possible, the use of public transports to come to the Institute.

In the facility, there are eight dully marked parking spaces for citizens with disabilities carrying accessibility sign.

There is a tolerance for 20 minutes stay, free of payment, for all users. After this period, the price list in force applies; the payment is made counting from the time the car enters the parking. After making the payment, the users have 10 minutes to leave the car park.

The price list is displayed on the automatic payment terminals and the reception booth of the company which manages the car park, close to Praça de Espanha entrance.

Blood donors have a reserved and free of cost dedicated area and should, for this purpose, inform the Security officer at the entrance of the facility and produce the blood donation evidence when leaving.
